Mile 1, and only 12.1 to go - Freer leads

Local pro with an accent, Richard Freer, leads the field at the 1 mile marker by 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Prepping for Florida, today was only supposed to be a swim and a bike. However, there was no way Freer was going to stop in T2 with a roaring crowd and the lead. So, after a 5 minute transition to see if anyone else would show up in T2, Freer just left the transition area with a set of borrowed legs as his were left on the bike course.
